The project has evolved from a long-term collaboration between independent theatre companies in Queensland, New Zealand and Japan. It was very special to be able to deliver this activation with live dance, live music and live transmission visuals. The harakeke whāriki disc and kete from Kahu Collective weavers are beautiful (large central kete conatins OneOne VR Oculus Go headset journeys).

We are excited to share that the Chinese New Year Festival in Wellington have commissioned 12 public artworks to make up their Zodiac Trail in the city this month. Arts Laureate Daniel Belton with GCA whānau created a new serpent edition of the Astrolabe - Whakaterenga project designed as a print installation for the entrance facade of Te Papa Tongarewa National Museum of New Zealand.
