Our newest project in the wings Ad Parnassum - purapurawhetū is making strides with exciting music development from composer Gillian Whitehead. Director Daniel Belton travelled north to work with Gillian in Ruakaka, Northland. This was a stimulating and highly productive reconnection, supported by cellist Paul Mitchell playing parts of the score for strings and traditional Māori instruments.
During November this year we will work with the New Zealand String Quartet and taonga pūoro musician Alistair Fraser towards recording this beautiful music for the dance film. In January 2021 the Good Company Arts digital team comes together with nine renowned dancers for a new choreolab and filming process. Watch this space!
